Scott grew up on a family farm in northwest Iowa, even though he’s lived in the Chicago area since finishing college he still remains active in the yearly crop production decisions. Scott attended Iowa State University and after finishing college with a major in Ag Business and minor in economics he moved to Chicago and started his career on the CBOT trading floor having numerous responsibilities. He’s been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade since 1991, he holds a floor brokers license and also a Series 3. After several years in and around the trading pits he saw the writing on the wall and started to migrate to the technology side of the business. He worked for CQG for 12 years. Scott started with QST in the fall of 2006 as VP of Sales and Business Development. He brings 35 plus years of valuable experience to the table and a vast network of contacts throughout the industry.
